This presentation was offered as part of the 2022 BMT Lecture series, in coordination with the Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary, Alberta .

Michelle Dowhan, B.Sc. (Pharm), BCOP and Kevin Thai, BCS Pharm, ACPR are both pharmacists at the hematology/blood & marrow transplant. In this presentation, they will share the following learning objectives:
- Describe the mechanism for different types of chemotherapy-induced nausea/vomiting (CINV);
- Assess patients for type of CINV;
- Understand mechanism of action and side-effects of anti-emetics: Create treatment plan incorporating
evidence and patient-specific factors.
